via GIPHY I started writing this story back in 2016 and put it on hold for a long time for...reasons. My muse wanted to go in one direction, and I was hesitant to step outside the "romance" box. My big concern was that fans of this series, considered BDSM light by many, might not embrace this pairing. After toying with a watered down version, which left me dissatisfied, I reverted to the original plan, and let inspiration guide the way.  Sami and Jay are at their lowest when they meet at a crowded airport. Each is ensnared in the past and can’t find a moment of peace without administering or receiving pain. They need professional help more than a hookup. Hardly ever politically correct, Sami lost his moral compass a while back, and makes choices others might find repugnant. Jay is a priest in crisis with bone-deep abandonment issues. They are a toxic pair, but, in their own fucked-up way, perfectly right for each other.  Instead of ignoring the powerful physical attraction, because neither man is fit for human consumption, they are drawn to each other like moths to a flame. Yield is their story.
